Hornung's True Value Hooks New Business
June 01, 2018
Hornung's True Value Hardware of Dauphin, Pennsylvania, held a grand reopening from April 27-29 that doubled their overall sales and generated a 3,000% increase in TV Rewards sales. This location is one of four True Value stores owned by Mary Jane Hornung, her sons Russell and Michael and daughter Pat. With a total space of 6,000 sq. ft., the store boasts a whole side room as a dedicated paint shop and a new fishing planogram to reel in outdoor aficionados.
Even with Friday's dreary weather, business was so good that they stayed open an hour later than usual, and Saturday brought even more droves of new customers. Hornung's held giveaways from vendors and the Allentown RDC and also raffled off a Weber grill, lawnmower, power washer and Stihl chainsaw. Several True Value associates joined in the festivities--RC Craig Stiles, RD Paul Bernard, credit manager Mike Block and credit analyst Mark Dechman. Many colleagues from the Allentown RDC also stopped by to show their support and celebrate with the Hornungs. All in all, the family was impressed with the entire DTV process, from the support they received to the amazing turnout all weekend.
Congratulations to the Hornung's True Value team!
