Burney True Value Hardware Keeps on Growing and Giving
January 04, 2018
Ever since a 2014 DTV remodel, Burney True Value Hardware in Aberdeen, North Carolina, has been steadily attracting attention. In 2015, operations manager Sam Ransdell was named Young Retailer of the Year. The following year, the store added True Value Rental, STIHL and Scag to break into the commercial landscape market and won Best Hardware Store in Town. By 2017, STIHL also named Burney True Value a Top 1st Year Performer. With a new DTV branch in the works for Seven Lakes, North Carolina, later this month, the Ransdell family clearly has growth top of mind.
Industry publications have taken notice as well. Green Industry Pros magazine recently highlighted the retailer for being one of the few selected by STIHL to sell the iMow™, its first robotic lawn mower. Additionally, Hardware Retailing magazine detailed their efforts to aid first-time homeowners by donating gift cards and sponsoring a new Habitat for Humanity home.
Congratulations to the Ransdells and the Burney True Value Hardware team!
